Gutter Baghicha. 17min. 2008. The story of Gutter Baghicha, the largest amenity plot in Karachi. Located in SITE town along the Manghopir road, today only 480 out of 1017 acres remain of what used to be the lungs of old Karachi.
Hingol Flood Relief. 22 min. 2007. A documentary about the devastation caused by the cyclone that hit the coastal areas of Baluchistan, and the relief efforts of a small group of individuals from Karachi for the scattered settlements in the Hingol National Park.

Al-Mashal Welfare Foundation. 12 min. 2007. The Al-Mashal Welfare Foundation was established in 2004 to provide quality education to underprivileged children in Pakistan. The Foundation runs a school in the low-income residential area of Saddar, Lahore.
Sea Turtles. 37 min. 2006. Produced by Geo TV. Nominated for a Genesis Award in the Brigitte Bardot International category for “its excellent depiction of the perils facing the endangered sea turtles of Pakistan and the efforts being made to save them”.
Chasing Storms in Thar Desert. 60 min. 2006. The 4X4 Offroaders Club’s journey to Thar desert in Pakistan. Neither lightning nor torrential rains, quicksand, flat tires, clogged air filters, or broken down radiators stop them in reaching their destination.
The Garage School. 17 min. 2004. In November 1999, Shabina Mustafa’s maid’s daughter was refused admission to the neighbourhood sewing classes. “She cannot read or write”, they said. And thus, the Garage School was formed. Screened at Kara in 2004.

Umeed Project - Pakistan earthquake relief. 2 min. 2005. The Umeed Trust has adopted the village of Kashtara in NWFP, Pakistan as part of its earthquake relief efforts. The project aims to rebuild the people’s homes and to help them regain their livelihoods.
Makhan Toast. 4 min. 2005. A short film about makhan toast (Buttered Bread). An attempt at storytelling. Starring people who couldn’t even act. Filmed in Pakistan, as part of the Karachi chapter of the Group 101 Film Club. Makhan toast is good to have every morning with your coffee.
Your Beautiful World. 2min 20sec. 2004. In association with Outre Films. What would you do if I slashed my wrist all over your beautiful world? Based on a poem by Manizhe Ali. Made for the Karachi chapter of the Group 101 Film Club. Screened at the 4th KaraFilm Festival December 3-12, 2004.
My Red Trainers. 3 min. 2004. Red Trainers parks himself on a bench somewhere in the throbbing heart of London city. Sitting next to a pretty boy tourist while watching the world go by, he contemplates the mystery of city folk and pigeons. Screened at 4th Kara.
A Piano in Karachi. 1999. 4min 30 sec. Screened at the 3rd KaraFilm Festival in 2003. This short film is about a neglected and ignored piano at a family’s house in Karachi, Pakistan.
